This poster explores the disorientation of returning home after years of absence, only to find it unfamiliar and to feel unfamiliar within it. The spaces, furniture, and streets appear unchanged, yet they no longer hold the same meaning. What remains is not reality, but memory — something closer to a dream.
It reflects the experience of those forced to leave their home countries due to instability, holding onto the hope of return. But return to what? Where is home when you no longer recognize it, and it no longer recognizes you?
The poster was created using OpenFrameworks, a C++ creative coding framework, with Adobe Illustrator and After Effects used for compositional refinement.
